Greetings Shedders,

As Men’s Sheds Canada approaches the end of its inaugural year, I want to notify you about our AGM on September 29, 2023, starting at 9:00 am PT. Your participation is crucial in shaping the direction of MSC.

We strongly encourage all Sheds to register by September 21. By registering, you can vote on matters that will impact the future of MSC. Each Shed is requested to name a designated representative who will vote for that Shed at the AGM. We kindly ask that you provide us with the name of that representative by September 21.

We will present our Annual and Financial Reports during the AGM, providing you with our progress to date. Your vote on our updated By-laws will be crucial to ensure CRA compliance with the requirements of MSC’s application for Charitable Status. Also, we will hold elections for the position of Directors. Your vote in the election process will help determine MSc’s leadership team.

I would also like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Ray Verlage, Kevin Ford and Paul Cook, who diligently served on our Board and have chosen not to seek reelection at the end of their term. They plan to continue to be involved and support MSC and the Men’s Shed movement in other capacities. Their dedication and contributions have left an indelible mark on our organization, and we thank them for their service.
